Institutional Decision-Making
Pillar: Governance & MeetingsThe forumβs legitimacy and strength stem from democratic processes and strict adherence to constitutional rules.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Convened annually within constitutional notice periods. The AGM receives audited accounts, adopts policy amendments, and conducts democratic elections for the Executive Committee.
Quorum Standards
Official decisions require a documented quorum of registered members in good standing. If a quorum is not reached within the prescribed window, meetings are adjourned according to standard procedure.
Voting & Resolutions
Each eligible member possesses one vote. Resolutions are passed by simple majority, with constitutional modifications requiring a two-thirds majority of present voting members.
Portfolio Committees & Commissions
Working commissions oversee key portfolios (such as Agriculture, Food Retail, Engineering, and Enterprise Development), reporting directly to the executive committee.
